Now you have a reason for convincing your partner for the astonishing foreplay you enjoy most. According to the latest studies, regular sex – that’s one to two lovemaking sessions per week – can provide some incredible boosts to your health and well being. Sex can ease depression and stress. Orgasms can be a great pain reliever, because they release oxytocin into the body. It can boost cardio health and fight aging.

Stressed out with work or family problems? Don't let it affect your performance in the bedroom. Not only will having sex improve your mood, but a study has also proven that folks, who indulge in regular bedroom activities can handle stress better and are happier people.

Participants who received comforting touch from their spouses before stressful events displayed lower blood pressure and lower heart rates. Couples who make love once or twice a week are less likely to catch colds, flu or stomach bugs, according to a study in the U.S. However, there is a fine line between too much sex and too little: those who made love more than four times a week were more prone to illness.
